Take a short train journey from Zurich to the spa town of Baden, climb the hill to the old castle ruins for the view, see the old town and the historic wooden bridge, walk along the river to the Bäderquartier (with a possible short hike up to the vineyards of Ennetbaden if the colours are good) and back for an iconic sunset photo of the city with sunset estimated at 18:45.

If people are interested we can stay for an apéro or food in Baden afterwards.

Your favourite camera
Standard zoom lens (wideangle to mild telephoto)
Any other lens you think you might want
Tripod
Snacks and drinks (although there will be shops open in the station and probably cafés too)
Weather-appropriate clothing and suitable shoes for walking

Meeting up: We will meet at the station house, platform 1 at 15:00

Getting there: By public transport from Zürich HB, we recommend taking the IR36 to Basel SBB at 14:36, arriving in Baden at 14:51
By car, there are plenty of car parks in Baden, including in the station itself, access from Oelrainstrasse.
